Free Recipe CardsPatti - 16. Februar 2019

When I first got married, I decided I wanted to cook with recipe cards. Handwriting all my favorite recipes was not an option, so I searched online for a template where I could type my recipes. I found none that fit my specifications (free, fillable, four per page), so my husband helped me create a template where I could simply type my recipes into a form, hit print, and voilà! Uniform recipe cards! I've tweaked the form over the years, making it cleaner and more functional, and I want to make it available to anyone who may be in the same boat as I was.

This template is a power point file. It has four cards per page, with an optional back side for additional instructions. The title, source, ingredients box, instructions box, and yield box are all forms. This means that if you do not fill in those boxes, nothing will show up when you print. By simply printing the file, you will have a recipe card that can be completely filled in by hand (see photo above).

Be careful when filling in the back side of your recipe cards. They will print on the opposite side as the front, so the back of the recipe in the top left corner should be written in the top right corner, etc. To print with a back, make sure you choose the double-sided printing option, and flip the page along the short edge.
