The before picture is not very good quality, but you can see the upholstery on the stool needed an upgrade. I took all the staples out of the cover, and then took apart the pieces to see how it was put together. There were only two pieces: a square and a long strip. I traced the pieces onto new fabric, cut it out, pinned everything together, and sewed! I pressed the bottom edge of the strip down ¼” so that the edge would not be raw underneath. My handy husband hammered regular staples into the fabric because we don’t have a staple gun. But it worked! And now I have a beautiful and restful corner just for me.
